Covert Hypnosis – Can It Be Used in Public Speaking?

In most cases, covert hypnosis is effectively applied in one-to-one conversations.

When practitioners explain how they use the different techniques, they usually describe talking directly to the subject without no one else taking part in the conversation, apart from the subject and the practitioner.

This makes many people assume that covert hypnosis can be applied only individually. However, this is not the case. This method for influencing people can work equally well on groups of people and even on large crowds.

You can readily use the different hypnotic techniques in public speaking. You can make many people use their imagination and visualize doing what you want them to and enjoying its benefits. It does not matter whether you are speaking to one person or to a hundred.

Similarly, you can use great group pattern interrupts. Handshakes and other physical gestures might not help, but you can readily use a change in voice and intonation.

You can also say or make something strange. Even tapping on the microphone can be a powerful pattern interrupt in public speaking.

It is easy to pace and lead, provided that you know how to do it, no matter whether you are speaking to a crowd or to just one person. Making embedded commands is also done in the same way when speaking publically.

By now, you are probably asking yourself how it is possible to build rapport with many people at the same time. The key to success is to use more general covert hypnosis method to appeal to the crowd and earn their trust.

Telling a joke works well, but only when it is a good one. Asking a few people direct questions is also a good method for breaking the ice.
