The first thing you have to do in conversational hypnosis, after building rapport, is to get the person into a state of trance. This is not particularly difficult to do, especially if you are a hypnotist with experience. However, this does not mean that you should miss an opportunity whenever it presents itself.

What you can do is to take advantage of a trance state that the person is already in. The reality is that a lot of actions that we do mechanically every day are driven by the subconscious mind, so it opens up for influencing.

For instance, a lot of people get into trance when driving from work to home and from home to work. Similarly, many get into trance when they are washing their teeth and/or taking a shower.

Watching television can also get a person into trance. When a person is doing some technical work, such as chopping vegetables in the kitchen or entering data into a spreadsheet, the is vulnerable to influencing as well.

There are other activities that produce trance states as well. Dancing is one such example. If you think about it, in a dance the man is pacing and leading and the woman is following.

Basically, you can readily use your conversational hypnosis skills to persuade a girl to go out with you when you are dancing with her. In much the same way, you can get to influence any person if you catch him in this so called altered state of consciousness.

All you have to do is seize the opportunity and use conversational hypnosis effectively. You have to be extremely careful not to get the person out of trance, so you have to use the right trance words with the right tone of voice. The latter is particularly important.

Now you know how to apply conversational hypnosis when a person is in trance already. Keep learning more with my article Conversational Hypnosis-Commanding Other People Through Conversation.
