Conversational Hypnosis-3 Myths Debunked

People think that there is a lot of mysticism behind conversational hypnosis. The truth is that it is pure psychological science.

It does not work on everyone.

This is totally false. Forget about the nonsense that conversational hypnosis works only on those who are weak of mind. Anyone can be influenced, provided that the hypnotist knows effective techniques to do it.

Why? It is simple – we all have a subconscious mind. No matter how resistant the critical mind is it can be switched off, with the use of the appropriate methods.

The effect is short.

When the fundamentals of conversational hypnosis are explained, the most common example given is the closing of a sale (making a prospect customer buy something). In this way, it is perfectly natural for you to assume that after a short while, the subject of hypnosis will come out of it and avoid following the suggestions you have made.

This is definitely not the case. If you want to make a subject do a specific action in the future, you simply have to perform conversational hypnosis a number of times. In general, if you know how to prepare the subject and influence them deeply, even one session will be sufficient to program them.

It is dangerous.

This is one of the worst misconceptions. This type of hypnotism does not have a long-term influence on the human psychology and the human brain. Furthermore, it is based on purely scientific methods, as I mentioned earlier.

Another point to keep in mind is that the subject is unaware that he is being hypnotized. This means that consequences, such as delusion, anxiety and depression are impossible to occur.
